For this Project I used the software I-Movie. I spent about 30 minutes deciding what prompt I wanted to make this project with. Once I figured out what I wanted to do and on what software I used google to find pictures that went along with what I was saying in my post. Finding the pictures and preparing an outline of my process to follow took about 2- 2.5 hours. The processing and posting part of this project took about 25-30 minutes. Overall I spent roughly 3 hours on this project. This project compared to my first presentation is very different. I used a completely different software and did more of an interview with the last project while in this one I gave my process of finding out about big data. I have used the software I-Movie in the past, so this wasn’t really that difficult for me.
Great job on your presentation! I thought it was very informative and you made your claims very clear. If someone had never heard about big data, they definitely would have learned what it is, what it is used for, the benefits, and also the “dark sides”. I really liked all the pictures you used as well because they correlated directly with what you were saying and they emphasized the importance of your project. Next time, maybe trying to limit the background noise while recording because there was just a little static that was loud when you were talking. Otherwise, I think you did an excellent final presentation and you can see your improvement with your skills from the previous project! 🙂
I think your presentation was really good! Honestly, in my opinion, there wasn’t much that I thought you could do to improve it. The only thing that I think was an issue was that there was one point during your presentation when there was a loud static sound, and I guess my suggestion would be to just be aware of what you are doing near the microphone because it can pick up a lot. I don’t think that issue took away from your project though! You did a really nice job speaking clearly and with pace so that viewers could understand. Also, I think that you covered the topic very well and included the right amount of information from your sources. I also really liked how you included pictures to go along with what you were saying, I feel like that made it interesting! Great job!
