I feel as though this peer review was a little easier than the first only because I knew what kind of things I was supposed to be looking for and more of your expectations. I feel that if I wasn’t given guidelines it would have been a little bit more challenging because I want to be able to help my peers as much as I can and the guidelines allow me to make sure I comment on those specific things that could benefit them. I would have used the rubric if we weren’t provided with guidelines to see what questions they answered and help them elaborate or answer more of the questions to make their writing stronger. For the final peer review I personally would like to comment with guidelines strictly because it allows me to look for specific things to point out or to make sure they add if they hadn’t already. Not only do I feel like they help me comment, I feel like they help me improve my own writing. Looking at them and then reading my paper allowed me to see where I could improve and make stronger. Overall, I do really feel this process is extremely beneficial.
