Connection to another course

In this class we are assigned readings that have online quizzes and sometimes get assigned articles that we have to read to later discuss in class. I have used techniques from this class to help me with the course work we do in this class. In past classes when I was assigned a reading online, I would simply just read it on my phone and skim through to get a brief idea of what we would be talking about in class. Now that we have developed skills, I print out the articles and mark them up with annotations (questions, paraphrasing etc). This allows for me to be able to be more engaged in class and know what we are talking about so I can contribute my opinions. As I continue to take classes I want to be able to incorporate more of the learning objectives in this class to them. When I grow older into my career choice and have to write reports, I will look back and remember all of the techniques we have learned: the correct usage of MLA citations in-text and for the works cited, global revisions, peer revisions, integrating my own ideas into papers, have a better understanding of the correct grammar usage and many more. English 110 is a class that I will be able to use techniques from all the way to my graduate years of college, and even in while I am participating in my future profession practice.
